Service

Lightchalk is a technical tool for visualizing, editing and projecting construction layouts and project data.

Professional verification

Lightchalk does not replace an architect, engineer, licensed designer, inspection professional or other qualified specialist. Dimensions, calibration, positions and technical decisions must be physically verified before construction work is carried out.

Assistant-generated proposals

Changes proposed through ChatGPT or another assistant are not professional approval. Depending on organization settings, Lightchalk may require human confirmation in Chalk before a proposal is applied.

Accounts and access

Users may access only organizations and projects for which they are authorized. Users are responsible for protecting their accounts and devices and for managing who receives access to company or project data.

Availability

Lightchalk is actively developed. Features may change or be temporarily unavailable.

Intellectual property

The Lightchalk software, interfaces, data model, catalogue and technical rules are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Customers retain ownership of the project data and files they upload, subject to rights necessary to operate the service.

Acceptable use

Users must not attempt to bypass authorization, tenant isolation, security controls or technical restrictions, and must not access data belonging to another organization without permission.
